This is the moment a driver loses control of his Renault and flips the vehicle on the motorway while apparently distracted as his passenger films a Ferrari Testarossa in the opposite lane.
The incident took place on a motorway in the province of Santa Fe, northern Argentina when a passenger in a Renault Sandero Stepway was filming a red Ferrari Testarossa driving next to them.
In the video, the woman recording says “we are going to overtake a Ferrari, keep up with the Sandero”.
The Ferrari then speeds past the Renault and the woman recording can be heard screaming as the Renault is heard crashing.
The Renault ended up overturning, rolling off the road but it is unclear if the driver hit the Ferrari.
Scenes from the aftermath show the Renault was left on its roof by the side of the road with significant damage.
There are no updates on the condition of the driver or the passenger in the Renault.
Local media report Renault Sanderos have been linked with stability issues in the past, with one of the cars reportedly overturning during the recording of an advert for the vehicle.
