These images show ex-Miss Colombia Daniella Alvarez posing on a yacht in a yellow bikini without her prosthetic leg after undergoing amputation last year.

The beautiful 33-year-old is holidaying in the city of Cartagena on Colombia’s Caribbean coast with her boyfriend Daniel Arenas.

She shared the images on Instagram for her 4 million followers with the message: “My happiness!”

In the photos, Alvarez is seen posing in a yellow bikini without her prosthetic leg while enjoying a sea trip on a yacht.

She is also seen posing with Arenas and two pals.

Netizens took to the comments section to support the model for her continually positive and inspirational attitude since having her lower left leg amputated last year.

Her Instagram followers said “this woman shows us again that beauty is only skin deep”, “you are a role model”, and “thank you for being an inspiration to many”.

Alvarez had her lower left leg amputated after an operation to remove a lump in her abdomen that was wrapped around the model’s main aorta, preventing an adequate blood supply to the leg.

She was later diagnosed with vascular ischaemia, which compromised the blood flow to her feet, especially her left foot, leading to the decision to amputate her left foot and part of the leg.

The model has been sharing her recovery process with her fans through her Instagram account, always with an admirably positive attitude.
