This is the moment a woman cheats death after being run over by a heavy goods vehicle before re-emerging from the undercarriage seconds later with only minor injuries.
The accident was captured by a witness in the city of Zigong in China’s south-western Sichuan Province on 28th June.
The video shows the female scooter rider cutting in front of the lorry which is waiting at the lights.

But she is in the driver’s blind spot and is not seen when the lights turn green and the lorry sets off again.
The couple who witness the accident gasp as the woman is knocked to the ground and then driven right over by the lorry.
Incredibly, she reappears from the undercarriage seconds and is seen sitting injured behind the heavy goods vehicle, having somehow managed to avoid being crushed to death as it passed over her.
She quickly moves to the side of the lorry as other vehicles hoot at the lorry to stop.
The lucky woman, who reports said “cheated death”, suffered with a minor injury to her right foot.
She is being treated at a local hospital.
Zigong police say the accident was caused by the woman being in the lorry’s blind spot, but also because she had illegally merged onto the road in front of the vehicle.
Further investigations are ongoing.
