WING AND A SCARE: Terrifying Flying School Plane Crash As Passersby Run For Cover

This is the terrifying moment a flying-school aircraft crashes onto a street in a fireball, sending passersby running for cover.

Astonishingly, two men – just feet away from the crash site – survived the drama, while the pilot and his pupil died.

The dramatic footage opens with two men walking in opposite directions down the house-lined street.

One man seems to notice the falling single-engine jet at the last minute and runs out of the way.

The other man fails to spot the plane, which misses him by inches as it scatters debris along the road.

Local residents, including women and children, are then seen emerging from their homes to check what has just happened.

Just seconds later, the plane’s fuel ignites and the wreck explodes in a fireball.

The crash took place in the Baglarbasi neighbourhood of Osmangazi District, in the city of Bursa, in Bursa Province, north-western Anatolia, Turkey.

Newsflash obtained a statement from the PIC Ucus Turkiye flight school earlier today (Tuesday, 26th January).

“After the accident, our first priority was to reach our aircraft in coordination with the search and rescue teams and obtain information about the health status of our flight crew and the citizens living in the region.

“Although no citizens were harmed in the region where this tragic accident took place, unfortunately our pilots Murat Avsar and Furkan Otkum passed away in the tragic event.
