This is the moment a wimpy dog howls like a donkey after barely being touched by a swiping cat as the owner says it always reacts that way to confrontation.

The incident was filmed at the unnamed owner’s house in the city of Shenyang in the Chinese province of Liaoning, and the footage was widely circulated on the social network Douyin on 1st January.

The woman said the pooch does not like confrontation and always balls up and howls like a donkey when attacked by one of her other animals.

She said that she loves her little dog, but it acts like it is made of ‘porcelain’ sometimes.

In the footage, the dog is seen in a caged kennel with a large cat of about the same size.

As the woman films the two animals, the dog anxiously barks as the cat faces it down.

The poor pooch cowers as the cat steps forward and apparently swipes its nose without its claws drawn.

The cat then turns and walks away as the dog falls to the floor as if shot by a sniper and makes a dramatic ‘braying’ sound like a donkey.

The owner said the dog was unhurt in the incident and even tried to ‘tell’ on the cat while seeking attention from her afterwards.
