WEDDING NIGHTMARE: Outrage After Bride Is Piled Upon By Men In Brutal Chinese Ceremony

This is the shocking moment a bride is violently pressed on the ground and piled upon by a group of men who also spray foam on her face in a wedding hazing ceremony in China.

The bizarre ceremony happened in a rural part of the city of Linyi, Shandong Province, on 19th January.

In the baffling footage, two men can be seen sitting on top of the bride’s back, pushing their force to press her harder to the ground as the crowd cheers.

Part of her red traditional gown looks like being separated from the dress.

Several other men join them, with everyone jumping on top of one another, forming a human tower on the back of the woman.

In another scene, men can be seen grabbing her arms from both sides and violently pulling her from the ground, as she struggles to stand up.

Appallingly, people can be seen spraying her face and clothes with what seems to be white foam as a man holds her tightly from the back.

Local media reported that the wedding hazing has been reported to authorities, who said that they contacted the village, and hope that people will give up on bad wedding rituals.

Wedding hazing is a traditional custom, also called naohun, aiming to disturb the wedding.

The ritual, which dates back to Han Dynasty (202 BC – 220 AD), was formed to help the couple in meeting each other better because, at that time, marriages were usually formed between strangers.

The video caused fury on Douyin – which is what TikTok is called in China with user ‘glory days’ commenting: “This custom must be stopped.”

While ‘Little Afu 1’ wrote: “The bride is so pitiful. If my sisters were treated like this, I would definitely fight to stop them.”

And ‘monster’ said: “That’s why I fear marriage. “
