These images show Ukrainian forces taking out Russian soldiers on the battlefield using mortars and grenade launchers.
The footage shows a number of Russian soldiers running on the battlefield before their position is repeatedly hit by Ukrainian ordnance.
The images were obtained from the 22nd Motorized Infantry Battalion of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Tuesday, 30th January, along with a statement saying: “The combat work of Mk 19 mortars and grenade launchers is a decisive voice of our resistance, which proves that we stand firm and are always ready to repel the enemy.
“Anti-tank calculations are a guarantee that enemy armoured vehicles will not stand a chance against our courage and determination.”

The images and statement were also relayed by the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that between 24th February 2022 and 30th January 2024, Russia had lost approximately 384,140 personnel, 6,300 tanks, 11,725 armoured combat vehicles, 9,144 artillery units, 972 multiple launch rocket systems, 663 air defence systems, 332 warplanes, 324 helicopters, 7,084 drones, 1,846 cruise missiles, 23 warships, 1 submarine, 12,191 motor vehicles and fuel tankers, and 1,448 units of special equipment.
The Russian Ministry of Defence has said that its troops have taken control of Tabaivka. A village in Ukraine’s Kharkiv region.
But Ukraine denied this, with Volodymyr Fityo, the head of communications for Ukraine’s Ground Forces, saying: “This does not correspond to reality. There are battles taking place near this locality.”
