These images show Ukrainian artillery and drones destroying Russian military positions on the frontlines.

The footage shows the Russian positions being hit and destroyed by the Ukrainian ordnance.

The images were obtained from the 58th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade named after Hetman Ivan Vyhovskyi of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Wednesday, 14th February, along with a statement saying: “Clearing forest strips from Russian vermin: combat work of artillerymen and pilots of attack drones of the 58th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade.

The images and statement were also relayed by the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that between 24th February 2022 and 15th February 2024, Russia had lost approximately 399,090 personnel, 6,442 tanks, 12,090 armoured combat vehicles, 9,620 artillery units, 984 multiple launch rocket systems, 671 air defence systems, 332 warplanes, 325 helicopters, 7,404 drones, 1,882 cruise missiles, 25 warships, 1 submarine, 12,691 motor vehicles and fuel tankers, and 1,524 units of special equipment.

Ukrainian authorities reported the take-off of Tu-95 strategic bombers in the early hours of Thursday morning, with explosions heard soon after.

Explosions occurred in Dnipro at around 6 am, with reports of blasts in Zaporizhzhia, Kyiv, and Lviv. Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadoviy stated that 10 Russian missiles targeted the Lviv region.

In Zaporizhzhia, near the frontlines, there were reports of a damaged apartment building.

An oil depot in Kursk, Russia, has reportedly been blown up in a Ukrainian drone attack. Videos show a large fire at the site on Wednesday night.

Roman Starovoit, the Russian governor of the Kursk region, stated that there are no casualties according to preliminary information.

Ukraine’s military has claimed to have sunk a Russian landing ship in its recent sea drone attack on Moscow’s Black Sea fleet.

Russian military bloggers have confirmed reports of the attack. This marks the second operation this month targeting a Russian warship in the Black Sea.

Azov Fighters Clear Russian Positions On Frontlines

Ukraine’s President, Volodymr Zelensky, has praised the achievement, saying: “We will clear the Black Sea of Russian terrorist objects step by step.”

NATO also hailed the Caesar Kunikov strike as a “great victory for Ukrainians.”

Ukraine’s new military Commander in Chief has warned that the frontline situation remains “extremely difficult.”

Oleksandr Syrsky, on his first visit to the 1,000-kilometre front since his promotion, said: “The operational environment has been extremely complex and stressful. The Russian occupiers have continued to increase their efforts and hold a numerical advantage in personnel.”
