A stunning Uber driver was stabbed to death in a frenzied knife attack when she told muggers she didn’t have a mobile phone to give them.

The horrific slaying took place in Fortaleza, north-eastern Brazil, on Wednesday night (30th November).
Uber driver Samira Albino Ribeiro, 32, had passengers in the car when she was approached by two men after she stopped at a traffic light.
They demanded her mobile phone, but Samira told them she did not have one.

Seconds later, the furious muggers stabbed her repeatedly in the chest.
Despite her horrific injuries, terrified Samira managed to drive to a petrol station, where she asked for help.
Meanwhile, the passengers in the car with her called for an ambulance.
Samira was rescued and taken to Instituto Doutor Jose Frota hospital, but she tragically died of her injuries.

A grieving relative told local media that Samira was an accountant but moonlighted as a taxi driver for extra cash.
Civil Police will investigate the case, but as of 1st December, no arrests had been made.
