Twin Sisters Look To Marry Same Man In Bizarre New Reality TV Show

These South African twin sisters are to appear in a bizarre new reality show where they look to marry one man, as they believe they are “two bodies with one soul”.

The twins, Owami and Olwethu Siko, have landed their own 13-episode TV show called ‘Twice as Bold’, which will premiere on Mzansi Magic on 7th April

Shirley Adonisi, director of local entertainment at the channel M-Net, said: “Shows centred around family trials and tribulations never get old and are always fascinating to observe – more so when the blood ties are as unique and as deep as the ones in ‘Twice as Bold’.

“We’re sure our audience will love this duo as we see them navigate motherhood, careers, spirituality and of course love.”

Born in the town of Vosloorus in the South African province of Gauteng, the sisters say they are inseparable and even married the same man nearly 10 years ago.

They married TV director Mzukiseni Mzazi in a plush ceremony in 2011 when they were just 21 years old and he was 47.

However, they later revealed that they married the older man just to escape poverty and that he soon turned abusive.

Owami said: “We were in a marriage whereby we didn’t enter because we were in love with our husband. We got married because we were escaping the poverty that we were in.”

The twins said in a previous interview: “After three months of marriage, we found out that he has many kids and he wasn’t divorced.

“Since then we are living in a marriage where there is abuse emotionally. We are tired now because there is a lot that we have experienced.

“He used to beat us. He poured diesel over the house but couldn’t find matches. If he had, we’d be dead today.”

They got pregnant at the same time and both gave birth to daughters before asking for a divorce.
