This is the moment a furious man puts a nursery school teacher in a headlock before pinning her to the floor as terrified youngsters flee.

The shocking scene was recorded at a nursery school in the Balgat district of the Turkish capital Ankara.

In the video, an elderly man, who has not been named but is the husband of a business partner involved with the nursery identified as Gul, marches angrily across the classroom towards a teacher.

Shocked children can be seen staring as the man grapples the woman to the floor as other staff members come running in.

The man can be seen pinning the woman to the floor as a teacher runs the children out of the classroom.

Two other women begin fighting and then run out of the classroom as the man can be seen grabbing the teacher by her hair.

The man then pushes her head to the ground and keeps her pinned to the ground by her head.

She tries to get up but he keeps her pinned down until another woman comes over and tells him to release the teacher.

However, the teacher gets to her feet and pushes the other woman who reacts by slapping her.

The video was recorded in November 2018 but has only just been reported on in local media.

Reports state the incident was sparked by an argument between the nursery partner Gul and another partner named Yasemin.

Gul is said to have begun attacking Yasemin over an argument about a student’s payment and Gul reportedly called her husband to help her.

Yasemin filed a criminal complaint against Gul’s alleged attack but Gul and her husband later returned to the nursery.

The video shows Gul’s husband attacking the woman, who worked as a partner and teacher at the nursery and had backed Yasemin up in the dispute.

Both parties have now filed criminal complaints and the investigation is ongoing.
