This thug has been arrested for stabbing a young man to death at random for no other reason than because he felt unhappy after social media left him feeling “worthless”.

The murder took place in the northern Serbian capital Belgrade when the 24-year-old victim, identified as Milos Mileusnic, was about to leave his girlfriend’s place early in the morning.

As soon as he left the building’s entrance, Mileusnic was allegedly intercepted and stabbed to death by 28-year-old Nedjeljko Djurovic.

The suspect then reportedly fled the scene and the victim was helped by neighbours who overheard the attack.

However, the young man later succumbed to his injuries in hospital.

Djurovic, who was arrested the same day, reportedly confessed to the crime.

He told police that he had spent all day and night on social media feeling “worthless” and that he had then decided to kill someone having not slept all night, according to local media.

Djurovic did not previously know Mileusnic and the young man was simply the first person the suspected killer happened across.

The suspect’s father Bojica Djurovic told local media: “He was never aggressive and he always helped others. However, he had been acting strange for about 10 days.

“If the two men had met under different circumstances, I believe they would have been good friends.”

A friend of the victim told local media: “I cannot describe how much Milos loved life. He was making big plans for the future and then he was killed by a monster for no reason.”

According to local media, the suspect has been placed on remand as the investigation continues.
