An artistic hair stylist who creates the faces of world leaders such as Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump on the back of people’s heads has said that his next portrait will be of Queen Elizabeth II.

The 35-year-old hairdresser, named Mario Hvala, creates his unique styles in the northern Serbian city of Novi Sad, and recently made the headlines with a portrait of Vladimir Putin on the back of a client’s head following the Russian president’s visit to Serbia.

Mario told Central European News (CEN): “I have been doing hair tattoos since 2009. The dearest portrait I’ve ever done was of Jesus Christ.

“I am a believer and I want my art to express gratitude and respect to God.”

He added: “However, the only portrait I have ever done twice was of Novak Djokovic.”

Mario said that the first famous portrait he ever styled on the back of someone’s head was of the Serbian tennis star.

He told CEN: “The most requested portraits are of Donald Trump, Vladimir Putin and Lionel Messi, although many of them do not go through with it because it is not cheap to do.”

Mario added: “The next person I want to immortalise, and I’ve wanted to do this for some time now, is Queen Elizabeth II.

“The British queen will be the first female portrait I have done from the 18 or 19 so far, which have all been men.”

Mario also created an impressive 3.3-metre high hairdo that was shaped to resemble the tallest building in the world, the Burj Khalifa in Dubai.
