The terrible episode started with an altercation between the twins’ father, Larry Thompson, and their mother, April Sadler, at their house in the 18000 block of NW Country Road 3360 in Frost, Texas, on Thursday morning, on 9th February.

According to the Navarro County Sheriff’s Office investigation, Thompson made threats about potential violence against the family and police if anybody tried to remove his children during an argument with his wife.

Following the fight, Sadler left the house, leaving Thompson with the two 12-year-old twins Heaven and Nevaeh Sadler. She went to the house a few hours later to check on things, but she heard gunshots and called the police.

Deputies from the Navarro County Sheriff’s Office came quickly and determined the individual inside was armed. The incident immediately escalated into a hostage scenario, and SWAT, crisis negotiators, and medical professionals were brought in.

The resulting SWAT operation and hostage scenario, which allegedly included the employment of a tactical robot to ensure the location was clean for law enforcement entrance, resulted in the finding of three bodies in the house, including Thompson and the twins.
