Thug Given 15 Yrs For Setting GF On Fire In Row

This evil boyfriend has been sentenced to 15 years in prison for pouring alcohol over his 22-year-old girlfriend’s body and setting her on fire.

The attack took place in the municipality of Quilmes in the province of Buenos Aires in eastern Argentina.

According to local media, Ezequiel Farina, 24, attacked his girlfriend Gina Certoma, 22, after an argument and poured alcohol over her body before setting her alight burn. The attack, which took place on 2nd January 2017 left her with 60 percent of her body covered in burns.

Reports state that the couple had an argument that morning and Farina attacked Certoma in a house they were renting together.

Neighbours reportedly called the firefighters of Quilmes who put out the fire and found both Cartoma and Farina with burn injuries.

The victim said: “I went to the toilet as I could, I went into the shower and I took my clothes off. The water swept part of my skin away and left some hanging. I tried to pull myself out of the water and I made him go. Then I listened to the door and I ran out.”

The victim was transferred to the Hospital Aleman where doctors reportedly found she had burn injuries to her upper and lower limbs, her torso and her back.

Farina was reportedly treated for burn injuries to his hands in the Hospital Iriarte de Quilmes and later arrested by the police.

According to local media, Cartoma and her family waited for the announcement of the sentence outside the tribunal where they celebrated the news.

Reports claim Farina was not transferred from the prison to the tribunal and he was told about his sentence by local authorities in his cell.

Cartoma told local media: “Thank you for coming. This is a fight that we have to continue. Women should never shut up. We are not alone. This is a caress for my soul.”
