This is the terrifying moment a 19-year-old music lover is shot dead in a hail of bullets as he live streams himself listening to Funk music on Instagram.

Victim Romulo Silva Albuquerque, known online as ‘Neskau’, was sharing his enjoyment of the music from his home in Piabeta, Rio de Janeiro State, in the early hours of 13th May.

As the music plays, Romulo, who was wearing a baseball cap backwards, seems to puff on a joint when suddenly a series of gunshots are heard, and the camera slumps forward as the clip ends.

He had been filming live on Instagram at the time. After the gunfire, the camera was knocked over, and in the end, it was just filming the ceiling.

Local media reported that at least five shots were fired, and although police are investigating, no arrests have been made.

Romulo’s devastated friends and family have demanded tougher action to track down those responsible.

The investigation is being carried out by the Baixada Fluminense Homicide Police Station (DHBF) who have not commented.
