This is the moment a Moscow cabbie allegedly stabs, punches and kicks a passenger before leaving the blooded man in the street as he drives off.
The shocking scenes were recorded by a CCTV camera in the Russian capital as the 32-year-old passenger, who has not been named in reports, was paying for his ride and reports state the driver stabbed the passenger in the conflict that followed.
In the video, the 52-year-old driver can be seen pulling into the side of the road and a woman appears to be waiting for the passenger inside to pay or to use the cab when he gets out as the front door opens.
The driver and the passenger can then be seen struggling when the passenger receives a blow and begins leaning on the door. in the argument, with no information available as to why they argued as the bill had reportedly been settled according to local media.
The cabbie gets out and marches round to the passenger before repeatedly hitting him in the face.
The driver then throws the passenger to the ground where he kicks him in the face before driving away. Local media report the driver allegedly stabbed the passenger in the fight.
The beaten man is seen sitting on the tarmac as onlookers walk by.
Reports state the victim was taken to a hospital in an ambulance and treated for minor stab wounds.
The driver was later arrested and released with charges of “deliberately causing minor harm to another’s health”.
It is unclear if a date has been set for the trial and the Ministry of Internal Affairs, who are in charge of the investigation, have not revealed what caused the incident.
