Lozano told local media that he wore the tickets as a way of showing thanks to the bus companies that got him to class every day for four years.

The 20-year-old graduate said that it used to take him 90 minutes to get to and from the university.

He said: “It’s extremely difficult to commute; very tiring. Most of the time, I had to stand all the way there and back. You’re already tired and you still need to stand.”

Lozano thanked the two bus companies that helped him get to class every day and one of them responded by offering the graduate a free trip with a hotel stay.

According to local media, Genesis Transport shared Lozano’s post and offered him a free bus trip to either Baler or Baguio along with a two-night stay in a hotel.

He said: “I feel blessed and extremely happy that they gave me a free ride which has become a graduation gift for me and my loved ones.”
