In the footage, she says: “This is the way someone decided to wish me a merry Christmas – by burning my son’s grave. Who are these people and why did they do it?”

Tolmatskaya told local media: “No one knows who did this. I am inclined to believe it was an act of vandalism.

“Nothing happened at the grave for many months, just people paying their respects and lighting candles. Now all of a sudden, everything is burned.

“I hope this on the conscience of whoever carried it out.”

She added: “It happened at night so no one saw who was responsible. I received a call telling me that my son’s grave was alight.

“When I arrived, everything was burned, the wreaths, his portrait, the plaque and inscription. There is nothing but an unmarked grave of an unknown man there now.”

Tolmatskaya said that she was not going to report the incident to the local authorities.

Meanwhile, cemetery officials suggested that it may have been an accident as many fans of Detsl, real name Kirill Aleksandrovich Tolmatsky, go to his grave and light candles.

He died on 3rd February 2019 in the city of Izhevsk at the age of 35 from a sudden heart attack after performing his live set at a private birthday party.

His debut album ‘Who Are You?’ from 2000 remains one of the best-selling hip-hop albums in Russia.
