A primary school gym paraprofessional was charged with child molestation after he allegedly tickled and licked a seven-year-old boy’s feet at an indoor amusement park.
Caurey Verlon Rollins, 26, was arrested and charged with one count of non-aggravated child molestation following the incident that took place at Urban Air Adventure Park in Augusta, Georgia, in the USA, on 14th January.
He was taken into custody on 15th February, a month after the allegations were made against him.
He allegedly asked a seven-year-old boy to remove his socks after tickling his feet and then proceeded to lick them.
Rollins reportedly approached the boy in a closed play area while the victim was left unaccompanied.
While performing the disturbing act, Rollins was allegedly “displaying his phone”with the flashlight on.
Deputies who received a call and arrived at the scene met with the owner of the establishment, William Gilbert.
Gilbert reportedly informed them he had witnessed Rollins being alone with the child in the play area and was licking his feet.
Gilbert also added that the incident was not captured by surveillance cameras because it happened at a blind spot.
Rollins was reportedly questioned by deputies and allegedly claimed he had met family members at the park who had just left and he was preparing to leave.
But further investigation reportedly found that Rollins did not meet with anyone else at the park.
Rollins, who worked as a physical education paraprofessional at the Glenn Hills Elementary school in Richmond County, was reportedly placed on administrative leave on 17th January.
And on 11th February, he reportedly resigned from the school himself “because of the situation at hand”.
