Suspect Sinan Y. returned to the school after being sent home and reportedly sought out his victim.

The teacher – named only as 55-year-old Sabine K. – was stabbed over and over in a frenzied attack and died of blood loss before she could be taken to hospital.

Her killer watched her dying as he calmly called police and waited in the classroom to be arrested.

The brutal stabbing shocked staff and pupils at the technical college in Ibbenbueren, Germany, on 10th January.

The slaying – said police – happened after heads at the school expelled him for the day due to “recurring conflicts with teachers”.

Sinan Y. exercised his right to remain silent during questioning and was then remanded in custody, accused of murder.

His classmates described him as quiet and a loner.

One teenager told local media: “He hated most of the students and all the teachers.”

The bulk of his ire, however, was apparently directed towards his German teacher Sabine, who was described in reports as popular among students.

One told local media: “I always looked forward to her lessons.”

Staff at the technical college told German media that “Sinan was a classic type of bigot” who lived by the motto “no one can touch me”.

Sabine leaves behind two adult children.
