This mask-wearing Russian superstar has revealed that she has had to cancel her trip to Paris to see Madonna in concert as a treat for her new boyfriend due to COVID-19 fears.

Russian singer Olga Buzova, 34, recently revealed that she is in a relationship with David Manukyan, 26, on Instagram where she commands a huge army of 19.7 million followers.

The fledgling couple planned to travel to the French capital Paris to see Madonna in concert, but the American star has been forced to cancel the final two shows of her Madame X tour due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

Buzova said: “Not always everything we plan is meant to happen. In December I decided to surprise my beloved by flying him to Paris for the final Madonna show, the ultimate pop queen and one of my most favourite singers.”

The Russian pop star added that she managed to get two days free from her busy schedule and had booked dinner at a nice restaurant facing the Eiffel Tower.

She said: “If we visit France, Rospotrebnadzor [Russian Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Human Wellbeing] requires 14 days of quarantine. I can’t afford to do it.”

The singer has two big concerts in Russia coming up and she doesn’t want to put anyone’s health at risk.

Buzova said: “I can’t go against the doctors’ advice and risk our health. This is why I made a decision to cancel the trip and not jeopardise my health or the health of my relatives and you.”
