This stunning model has lost her treasured Queen of Russia 2019 gold crown – along with 165,000 GBP in valuables – after burglars robbed her villa while she was away.

Elina Vorontsova, who was crowned winner of the Queen of Russia 2019 beauty pageant, was away on a business trip in Luxembourg when thieves reportedly broke into her luxurious villa in the prestigious neighbourhood of Rublevka just outside the western Russian capital Moscow.

Elina said that the thieves stole cash and valuables worth 14 million RUB (164,810 GBP), but the most upsetting part was that they took her gold pageant crown.

She said: “When I got home, I realised that some awful people had robbed my house. They opened the safe, took all the golden jewellery and money, but most importantly they took my crown.”

Elina believes that some of her staff members might have facilitated the break-in, according to local media.

There is no information if the police are investigating the alleged robbery, but the majority of netizens were divided by the news.

One guest user of a local Internet forum said: “I think you should be glad that you are alive and healthy.”

‘Mikhail’ commented: “Where was your security when the property was robbed?”

‘Papik Vozmestit’ wrote: “I bet your sponsor will cover the losses. I’m sure it will all turn out just fine!”
