The rumours of a split between gorgeous Italian football presenter Diletta Leotta and Turkish actor Can Yaman have intensified after he reportedly failed to show for his girlfriend’s 30th birthday.

Leotta, who comes from Sicily and has presented Serie A broadcasts for DAZN since 2018, celebrated her 30th birthday on 16th August.

However, eagle-eyed netizens noticed that her boyfriend, Turkish actor Can Yaman, 31, was missing from snaps the stunning blonde shared on Instagram for her 8 million followers.

The ‘no-show’ added fuel to rumours that the celebrity couple has broken up.

Rumours of a possible crisis started several months ago when Yaman suddenly took down his Instagram page at the same time Leotta was alleged to have been unfaithful.

In April this year, snaps appeared in Italian media of the sexy football presenter apparently kissing businessman Ryan Friedkin, the son of the owner of AS Roma.

According to Turkish media, it was also claimed back in April that the couple’s relationship was fake anyway, and that they were helping each other become better known in their respective countries.

However, a friend of the couple gave fans hope that things are not dead and buried just yet, telling the Italian media company Cairo Communication: “Can and Diletta are really close and are serious. There is true love. And even if there have been some misunderstandings, they are now far away. Their story cannot end like this.”

The famous couple has yet to respond to reports of their split, however, many netizens are already sure the relationship is over.

Instagram user ‘Pilloporto’ wrote: “It was all for PR. The photos will be deleted soon.”

Netizen ‘Cri_music’ commented: “It’s over. He will soon find another woman.”

‘Silveremoniadi’ said: “Can is gone. Oh, you were never actually together, right?”
