The Russian prima ballerina famously sacked from the Bolshoi Ballet company for being too “fat” has been mocked by trolls for wearing an undersized swimsuit that made her boobs bulge out of the sides.

Ballet dancer Anastasia Volochkova, 43, shared the snap on Instagram for her 1.1 million followers where it has been ‘liked’ nearly 20,000 times.

She is well known for posing semi-naked while performing the splits in exotic or unusual places.

Netizen ‘Alenkaaleshka’ commented: “Why are your boobs bursting out of your swimsuit?!”

‘Ivanova20189328’ said: “Why would someone wear a swimsuit that is obviously way too small? There is nothing attractive about that.”

‘BlackDev1l’ wrote: “It looks like she borrowed her daughter’s swimsuit.”

However, ‘GromovVitalia’ commented: “You are so sexy Anastasia, I can’t wait for new pics!”

The dancer was famously sacked by the Bolshoi Ballet company in early 2000 for being overweight.

The story made the international headlines and Volochkova was successfully reinstated following a court challenge.

However, although she remained on the company’s payroll, she never danced for them again and soon launched a successful solo career.
