These gruesome images show the dead bodies of a pregnant teen and her partner after being killed by armed men at their home in Brazil.

The double murder took place in the neighbourhood of Colonia Terra Nova in the city of Manaus in the Brazilian state of Amazonas at around 9.30pm on 26th November.

The two victims have been identified as Tayde Ramon da Silva Picanco, 27, and his 18-year-old girlfriend Samantha Silva, who was eight months pregnant at the time of her death.

According to eyewitness accounts, two vehicles parked in front of the couple’s house and the armed occupants broke down the front door, immediately firing gunshots.

Local media said Samantha sustained five shots to the head and her partner was shot seven times in his head, chest and back.

Tayde’s mother Michele Cristina de Souza, 47, was reportedly shot in the leg and was taken to hospital for treatment.

Meanwhile, paramedics tried to save the teen’s unborn baby, but to no avail. The victims were all declared dead at the scene.

The local authorities said the motive behind the killings is not yet known and the case is being investigated by the Specialised Police in Homicide and Kidnapping (DEHS.
