The son of one of the bosses of Russia’s largest mobile network providers has been arrested after filming himself allegedly speeding at over 100 mph and leading cops on a three-hour chase in Moscow’s streets.

Local media report Alan Ibragimov, son of Ruslan Ibragimov the vice-president of mobile network MTS, allegedly filmed himself speeding and switching lanes in Moscow before being involved in a three-hour police chase in his BMW.

In the video, reportedly recorded by Ibragimov, a car can be seen speeding through the streets of Moscow with electronic music blaring. The speedometer appears to approach the vehicle’s top speed, a reported 160 kph (100 mph).

He was reportedly chased by police for three hours before eventually being apprehended.

Reports state he and passenger Nikita Kalgashin then refused to get out of the vehicle and the police had to break into the car with a sledgehammer.

Some reports claim that cops found weapons, a plastic bag containing a substance which could have been cocaine, bullets and a substance that looks like hashish in the car, but this has not been confirmed by the authorities.

It is unclear if the pair have been charged.

Alan is an aspiring DJ who often flaunts his luxury lifestyle on social media.

MTS is the largest mobile network operator in Russia with 104.7 million subscribers.
