This is the moment a pervert sneaks up behind a young mother walking with her son on the pavement and lifts up her skirt before running away.
The incident was filmed in the municipality of Iztapalapa in the central Mexican capital Mexico City and the video was posted on Twitter by local congressman Javier Hidalgo where it has been viewed 60,000 times.
The politician shared the video with the message “While Laura (the victim) was walking with her son, she was sexually attacked by this man.
“She reported the case. He was seen on the street yesterday, but nobody believed her. Even the cops advised her not to pursue the matter to prevent causing any problems.”
In the footage, an attractive young mum is seen walking along the pavement with a young child.
A man in a blue T-shirt crosses the road behind her and then appears to follow her on the pavement.
In the next scene, the apparent perv runs up behind the woman and lifts up her skirt before sprinting away.
Meanwhile, the stunned mum angrily turns around and pulls her child close as the man turns and runs.
The victim has reportedly informed the local authorities of the incident although it is currently unclear if they are investigating the suspect.
Netizen ‘Aurora Mendiola’ said: “If people did not believe her, let’s make this go viral to see if they will arrest him. If he did this in broad daylight, imagine what he could do at night when a woman is walking around alone.”
‘Rkastrejon’ commented: “It is embarrassing that the police aren’t acting on this. They should all be suspended.”
