This is the moment a lorry driver slowly manoeuvres his huge vehicle over an egg and does not break it.

The stunt was filmed in the city of Dali in the Chinese province of Yunnan on 21st December, and the footage has been widely shared on the social network Douyin, which is what TikTok is known as in China.

According to the news site Baidu, the lorry driver, name not reported, wanted to show off his driving skills and placed an egg on the ground to drive over without breaking.

After filming his successful attempt, the lorry driver said that no real skill is involved in the stunt, adding that it all comes down to feeling once you’ve been driving for a long time.

In the video, the driver is seen placing the egg on the ground before climbing in his lorry cab to carry out the stunt.

He moves the front wheel carefully around the egg so the other wheels pass over the object on the ground in a straight line.

The first set of twin tyres passes safely over the egg, which remains in the narrow gap between them, followed by the rear wheels, and at the end of the clip, the egg is seen still intact on the ground.

Netizens had a lot to say about the driver’s skills, with Douyin user ‘Fang Yifei’ commenting: “This can only be described as awesome!”

And ‘Zz’ wrote: The egg said ‘I was scared!’”
