This is the moment a couple are filmed having sex on their balcony in broad daylight during the coronavirus lockdown in Barcelona.

The startling scene was recorded by an onlooker in the city of Barcelona, in the eastern Spanish region of Catalonia and was later shared on social media.

In the clip, the couple can be seen having sex on their balcony in the middle of the day, seemingly with no regard for who can see them.

The woman recording says “people are crazy” as she films the couple.

Local media report the balcony is located close to the important Diagonal Avenue in the Bonanova and Sarria neighbourhoods of the city.

Reports state it is not the first similar incident, with local police being called to the Eixample area of Barcelona at the week to break up a group of scantily clad residents sunbathing on a roof terrace.

Spain has been in lockdown since 15th March with residents only allowed to leave for essential shopping, essential work or other necessities. The Spanish government announced yesterday (Tuesday) an easing on restrictions expected to come into play on 4th May.

According to the latest figures from the Johns Hopkins University, Spain has registered 232,128 cases with COVID-19 and 23,822 deaths.
