A 50-year-old suspected paedophile has been arrested for posing as a secret agent to lure at least three youngsters to his home where he allegedly sexually abused them.

The unnamed suspect was arrested by the National Police in the central capital Madrid on suspicion of sexually abusing at least three victims aged between 12 and 14.

According to reports, the suspect pretended to be a secret agent and even showed a fake badge to his victims. He then invited them to play video games and slowly earned their trust.

He also allegedly threatened to hurt their parents if they told anyone what they were doing.

The investigation started earlier this year when the mother of a 16-year-old boy, who said he was abused when he was between 12 and 14 years old, reported the claims to the cops.

Police then discovered that the suspect allegedly abused at least two other minors.

The 50-year-old man is believed to have lured the youngsters back to a house he used for storage to play video games and eat sweets.

After he gained their trust, the suspect allegedly gave them between 10 and 40 EUR (9 and 35 GBP) to watch pornographic films and take part in sex games, which included masturbating in front of them.

Step by step, he increased the sexual abuse until there was physical contact and even affection between the victim and the abuser, according to reports.

At the man’s property, police seized four computer hard drives, a USB stick, video games and a safe.

The material is currently being analysed by the team of investigators.

In the meantime, the suspect, who reportedly does not have a criminal record, has been charged and released on bail.

It is suspected that there are more victims in the neighbourhood as the investigation continues.
