A father who locked his seven-year-old daughter in a car while he had sex with three men in a bus terminal bathroom has been seized by police.

The incident took place at the Bus Terminal in Anapolis, a city in the Brazilian state of Goias, on Saturday, 18th March.

And the car reportedly had almost no air intake, with its windows closed almost completely, with temperatures reaching 27 degrees Celsius (80 degrees Fahrenheit) on the day of the incident.

The police were called after the bus company was made aware that the suspect and the three other men were having sex on their premises. When the cops arrived, however, the three men had left.

But the suspect, who has not been named but who is 42, reportedly confessed that he had left his unnamed seven-year-old daughter in the car and the bus station terminal car park to have group sex in the bus station bathroom.

The dad told the police that it was the first time that he had left his daughter alone in the car for so long.

But the child reportedly told the police it was not the first time her father had locked inside the vehicle, with the cops saying that the child told them that her “father always leaves her alone inside the vehicle and disappears”.

After being taken to a police station, the suspect was eventually released.

The police station forwarded the case to their Protection of Children and Adolescents (DPCA) branch, who have opened a police enquiry into the matter.

They are investigating the dad for abandonment. He reportedly faces up to 3 years in prison if convicted.
