This is the moment a young boy visiting his friend does a wee in his building’s lift before dancing in an apparent celebration as he answered nature’s call after drinking too much water.

The video taken in a residential district in Nanning, capital of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in South China, shows the rucksack-carrying boy leaving a puddle of yellow urine on the floor.

The 12-year-old’s brazen stunt was captured by CCTV on 16th July, and the video shows him appearing to be looking around and possibly even spotting the surveillance camera.

He then stands in the corner of the lift as it ascends to his friend’s floor, urinating in the car before doing a little dance in front of the mirror.

As the doors open, the boy leaves and the puddle of wee can be seen inside the lift, where it was later mistaken as having been done by a pet dog.

After CCTV images revealed the truth, the boy’s parents were said to be “very apologetic”, building manager Lin Xionghui said.

“From what we understand, the boy had the urge to do a wee inside the lift because he had drunk a lot of water,” he added.

After saying sorry, the boy also wrote a letter to the building’s residents, promising to clean the lift for five days as a self-imposed punishment.

Lin said the boy kept his word and mopped the lift cars as promised.
