A 37-year-old woman accused of killing three of her newborn babies and then burying them in the back garden has been placed under house arrest while cops investigate.

The mother-of-six, whose three other children are currently living with relatives, reportedly showed the police where she buried her newborns in the back garden.

Accompanied by a prosecutor, the police were shown the remains of two babies she delivered in 2016 and 2018 as well as a third that she killed and buried last week, according to reports.

The suspect Ana Pardau, an engineer for a multinational company, pointed out the locations to the cops who then dug up the infants’ remains, according to reports.

She has been charged with murder after investigators determined that the most recent victim, found only last week, had been suffocated with a plastic bag.

A local policeman grew suspicious when the heavily-pregnant woman was suddenly seen walking around without a baby after apparently giving birth.

The infants’ remains are undergoing an autopsy to establish their exact cause of death while the 37-year-old mother was sent for psychiatric checks at the Suceava County Hospital, according to local media.

Reports said that Pardau has since been discharged and placed under house arrest as the investigation continues.
