This is the moment a turning van is hit by an oncoming car and it bursts into flames befor passers-by rescue the driver by smashing the windscreen and dousing the flames with fire extinguishers.
The incident took place in the city of Huzhou, which is located in eastern China’s coastal province of Zhejiangon, on 26th November.
The footage shows a van making a turn at an intersection when an oncoming car collides with it and flips it over as it bursts into flames. People on scooters and motorbikes waiting at the traffic lights near the scene of the accident can be seen backing away in fear due to the size of the blaze.

A passerby can then be seen throwing an object at the van’ s windscreen, allowing the driver to escape while two other people, who were reportedly local business owners, can be seen dousing the flames with fire extinguishers.
The blaze proved to be too much for the fire extinguishers and eventually firefighters responding to the call put out the blaze.
It is currently unclear if the driver of the van, who has not been named, suffered any injuries in the incident.

It is also unknown if the driver of the oncoming car, who has not been named either, has been arrested and if they face any charges.
