No injuries were reported in the incident. It is unclear if the police are investigating the Ferris Wheel operator and why rides were not suspended during the bad weather.

The Kaliningrad Oblast region is an enclave that is geographically separate from the rest of Russia. The region’s largest city is Kaliningrad, which was once known as the Prussian city of Koenigsberg, and Zelenogradsk was once known by its German name, Cranz.
