This is the moment a man shoots at US cops providing security outside a bar.

The incident took place outside a bar near 96th Avenue and Camelback Road in Phoenix in the US state of Arizona at around 12.45am on 20th June.

Two officers from the Phoenix Police Department were working an off-duty job, conducting security outside a bar in full uniform.

A woman and her friend approached the officers and told them that her ex-boyfriend had arrived at a bar where they had been and they were worried he might show up there to cause problems.

The woman showed a picture of her ex and identified him as Jesse Villasaez, 32.

Sometime later, the officers heard a commotion in front of the bar, and recognised the suspect who was arguing with the two women and other customers.

The officers and bar bouncers asked the suspect to leave and escorted him off the property.

The officers noticed that Jesse had not left the location and was sitting in the passenger seat of a pickup truck in the car park. The officers approached Jesse again, asking him to leave. He told officers that his ride was coming.

Six minutes later, the cops saw Villasaez’s truck driving through the car park and turning behind the bar so they went to investigate.

The cops noticed that Villasaez was driving towards them and as he got closer he began shooting from his moving vehicle in their direction. Both officers returned fire.

Villasaez then continued driving and fired two more rounds, striking the rear of a building.

Villasaez was later located and placed under arrest. According to police reports, he did not sustain any injuries from the shooting or the arrest. A gun was located under the truck’s bedliner and shell casings were found inside.

Among other numerous felony charges, Villasaez was arrested for aggravated assault on a police officer and unlawfully discharging a firearm.
