This is the moment an angry tenant tries to shoot an estate agent in his office but misfires and the man and his son are able to restraint the suspect.
The incident took place at an estate agent’s in the city of Artyom in the far-eastern Russian region of Primorsky Krai, bordering with North Korea, on 21st September.
In the footage, the suspect is seen removing a weapon from the back of his trousers before apparently attempting to shoot the target at his desk at close range at least twice.
However, after the pistol misfires, the victim and another man manage to restrain him.
At one point, the victim recoils as if in shot while jumping out of the way, however local media did not report that he had suffered a gunshot wound.
According to the news site Vesti, the 59-year-old gunman, name not disclosed, entered the office and attempted to shoot a worker at his desk, however the weapon misfired and the suspect was promptly restrained.
The suspect attempted to shoot the 36-year-old victim following a row about their rental agreement, according to Vesti.
The estate agent reportedly placed the suspect’s rented home up for sale and the 59-year-old man decided to shoot him following a disagreement.
The local police confirmed that the victim is one of the family members who own the apartment the suspect rents.
The businessman and another young man, his son according to some reports, managed to restrain the suspect until officers arrived on the scene.
The suspect has been placed under arrest and is being investigated for attempted murder, according to the investigating authorities in Primorsky Krai.
