This is the moment two thugs beat up a young woman in a building entrance because they heard she may have become pregnant by one of them.

The incident was filmed in the municipality of Shtip in North Macedonia and the video has been widely shared on Facebook.

In the footage, one of the suspects appears to hold a pregnancy test in his hand as he questions the victim.

His friend then starts hitting and kicking the young woman as she begs for him to stop.

The first thug starts kicking her again before asking: “Are you pregnant? Will you lie again and make me look like a fool?”

The victim tearfully says: “I am not pregnant, please leave me alone. I will never mention your name again, just leave me alone.”

Netizen ‘SlaveTodorovski’ commented: “The police should arrest the guys and let the girl’s father deal with her.”

‘PetrePetreski’ said: “Don’t these monsters have mums or sisters? They deserve to end up in a wheelchair.”

‘Marina Corbeska; wrote: “I’d like to see how strong they feel in prison.”

After the video spread on social media, the country’s interior minister Nakje Chulev said: “The suspects have been identified and they are under arrest.

“The Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office is taking care of the case.”

Social services said they would offer support to the victim when the police investigation into the two suspects, identified as S.A. and P.R., has concluded.

It is unclear whether the victim was in a relationship with one of the suspects. If so, the case could be treated as domestic abuse and temporary protection measures would be required, according to local media.
