THREESY DOES IT: Mom-Of-Two Scoops Third Lotto Jackpot

A stay-at-home mom has hit it big for the third time in a row after a cashier persuaded her to buy a scratch-off ticket worth USD 100,000.

A 34-year-old mother of two – from Brandywine, Maryland, state, USA – plans to put her new fortune towards her children’s education after winning in the new ‘Blizzard Bucks’ game.

The winner – who won USD 10,000 (GBP 8,800) twice before in two previous lottery games – told officials that the money will go towards her kids’ education fund and a new family car.

She bought the winning ticket at Waldorf’s Liquors in Maryland, according to reports from Monday, 24th October.

The three times winner told local media: “I honestly had no intention of playing.

“The cashier there at Waldorf Liquors pointed out this new ticket and the urge hit me.”

She then scratched the first lottery ticket which reportedly revealed that she had won just USD 15 (GBP 13).

But she decided to keep playing and used her modest winnings to purchase a second ticket.

She added: “When I saw the $100,000 [GBP 88,000], I couldn’t believe it. I stayed calm, but all I was thinking was ‘Oh, my God.”

She raced to the car park to share the news with her husband as she waved the winning ticket in the air.

She added: “My husband was waiting in the car. He thought I’d gone crazy.”

She is the first winner of the new scratch-off lottery game’s top prize, with eight ‘Blizzard Bucks’ top prizes still up for grabs, according to Maryland Lottery officials.
