This is the moment a man allegedly beats his ex-girlfriend and mother of his twin daughters in a nightclub car park because she was enjoying a night out with pals.

The incident was filmed by a CCTV camera outside the Rumba club in the municipality of Las Rosas in the northern Argentine province of Santa Fe at around 6am.

The 19-year-old suspect, identified as Gonzalo Herrera, who was separated from the victim, named Gina, reportedly went to the nightclub to confront and beat her after he found out she was out with friends.

However, as seen in the shocking footage, a team of cops were quick to respond and catch the man as he was pummelling the victim on the ground.

Gina was taken to the Hospital Samco where she was diagnosed with multiple traumas all over her body, according to local media.

Meanwhile, Herrera was arrested and released after questioning.

Reports said that he visited the victim at her parent’s house several days after the filmed incident and attacked her again in front of their twin daughters, aged two.

He then allegedly fled the scene and remained at large before deciding to give himself up.

Gina, who first met the suspect in 2015, told local media: “He always beat me up, but this time it was more intense. He had the intention of killing me. It was a miracle that I was saved thanks to the quick arrival of the police.”

The investigation is ongoing.
