This Russian woman who at 21 changed her appearance to look like Jessica Rabbit with super large lips has again gone under the knife in a bid to return to normal.

Russian Kristina Rei became an international celebrity after a series of operations to get super in large lips to look like her cartoon idol.

She has since revealed that ever since she had been a child she had been really unhappy with her nose, which she said made her look like a pig, because her parents refused to allow her to have a nose job so she had instead enlarged her lips to detract from attention to her nose.

And she revealed that the publicity and attention then spurred her on to even more cosmetic enhancements, including having horns implanted into her skin and a forked tongue.

But speaking about the decision to return to normal, the young woman now aged 29 from the city of Sochi said her appearance did not bring her happiness.

She said: “For me Jessica Rabbit looked like the ideal woman, I became addicted to changing my appearance and ended up as one of the most famous Russian freaks.”

She started the transformation back to a normal young woman a year ago, saying that she had received attention “like a freak, because I was ugly. People would point a finger at me.

“I was attracting the wrong kind of guy.”

She said that her looks have made her famous, and got her the attention she craved, but she realised that it did not make her happy: “It made me a star for a day, but the next day the hype was gone and I was back on my own again.”

She does regret having the cosmetic surgery because she thinks her appearance ruined her chances of finding the right man, and was definitely to blame for the fact that she could not even find a proper job.

However a team of plastic surgeons were able to reverse the transformation which included removing the metal horns that were implanted in her forehead and reducing the size of the lips. At the same time, a psychologist helped her to overcome her complexes and gain self-confidence so she could live without the Jessica Rabbit makeover. There are also stylists who showed her how beautiful she is.

The transformations were paid for by Russian TV programme ‘Perezagruzka’, which is about women who want to change their lives, and she has now appeared in her new look and revealed she was delighted with the transformation.

She was also praised by her father, who turned up to say he was proud of her for moving on from her previous image.

She also offered advice to other youngsters saying her experiences should serve as a warning.
