This is the moment an influencer shooting a video for social media sets fire to his crotch after pouring aftershave on his trousers and yelps in pain as his nether regions burn.

The footage shows 34-year-old Turkish influencer Osman Nuri Ozer on fire as he scrambles away from the camera.

The man, who works in a garage in Rize, a coastal city in the eastern part of the Black Sea Region of Turkey, can be seen chuckling lightheartedly at first before apparently starting to feel the heat around his privates.

He quickly ends up on the floor of the garage, writhing in agony as he asks his pals to help him.

They can be seen hastily trying to remove his trousers as the footage ends, where a second video showing them managing to pull his trousers down around his ankles to avoid further damage to his manhood.

Local media reported that he had poured cologne on his trousers before lighting it with a lighter for ‘likes’.

He later told local media: “I produce comedy content on social media. We wanted to shoot a comedy video. Normally, we would light a light fire and make a comedy video.

“But the events suddenly went out of our control. We did not take any precautions. Suddenly, I started to really burn. I felt like I was cooking.”

The hapless prankster added: “I realised it when I felt pain. After that, my friends intervened and put the fire out.”

He also issued a word of warning to others who might think that this is a good idea, saying: “I would definitely never attempt such a thing again, and no one should attempt such a thing. I did not expect the cologne to burn so much,”
