Giant Female Influencer Known For Being Four Centimetres Taller Than NBA Superstar Yao Ming Dies Aged 23 After Catching Cold

A giant female influencer who shot to fame for being four centimetres taller than NBA superstar Yao Ming has unexpectedly passed away.

Supertall Xiao Mo, 23, from the city of Shaoyang, in China’s southwestern Hunan province. Reportedly died after she succumbed to complications arising from a cold she recently caught.

The 2.3-metre-tall (7.5 feet) online celebrity, who boasted more than 152,000 followers on China’s version of TikTok, Douyin, reportedly died on 15th January.

Mo, known for her live streams on the platform in which she reported on her daily life, was raised by her grandparents after her mother abandoned her a few months after giving birth to her.

Chinese media revealed that she had suffered from many underlying health conditions such as heart and sight issues that were connected to her height.

Following her death, the influencer was reportedly cremated, with media claiming that her father, who she was not on good terms with, has not yet collected her ashes from the crematorium.

The news about Mo’s death devastated her followers online. They could not hold back from sharing their condolences to her friends and family.

Douyin user ‘Thirty-three’ said’: “I didn’t expect to meet you in this way.”

Then user ‘Little Stars’ commented: “Have a good trip Xiao Mo. I hope you’ll be a healthy girl with loving parents in your next life.”

And ‘Eat well’ added: “She and my sister were classmates in elementary school. And later in junior high school, because she was too tall and in poor health, she stopped studying.

“My sister said that she was a very good person, always helping her classmates and being very easy to get along with.”
