This is the moment a vlogger lies on the rail tracks and waits for an oncoming train to pass over him as his pal films – in a stunt which has seen the pair arrested.

The footage was filmed on the track between the Salar and Chukursay railway stations in the district of Yunusabad in the city of Tashkent, the eastern capital of Uzbekistan.

The video was shared on Instagram by Arthur Babaev who is reportedly striving to become an online ‘influencer’ and wanted to see his video ‘go viral’.

However, with just over 5,000 followers and 34,000 views of his video, the vlogger has a long way to go.

In the footage, reportedly filmed with the help of Babaev’s friend Dmitry, the young man is seen lying on the rail tracks just as an oncoming train passes over him.

The video sparked outrage on social media, with many netizens calling the vlogger a ‘bad example’ for teenagers and young people.

Meanwhile, the local authorities said that Babaev made the clip to create hype and earn more social media followers.

The two young men have reportedly been detained by the police and charged with petty hooliganism. The case will be considered in court.
