This is the moment a pedicab driver who realises his vehicle has suddenly caught fire is seen frantically trying to put out the flames by blowing on them.
His vain attempts at putting out the engine fire were captured on CCTV in the city of Ji’an in East China’s Jiangxi Province on 25th September.

The unnamed pedicab owner can be seen queuing at the Sinopect filling station when smoke is seen rising from his idling vehicle.
As the fire grows, the driver looks down and realises the danger before jumping off his seat.

However, instead of looking for a fire extinguisher, he bumbling driver begins blowing on the flames in the hope of putting out the fire.
He can be seen repeating this three times, even as the flames grow visibly larger and out of control.
He finally rushing into the petrol station and returns with filling station attendant Pan Qiong.
The professional female attendant puts out the burning pedicab in a matter of seconds using an extinguisher, much to the relief of the owner.
Pan said: “I was able to effectively put out the fire thanks to our training and fire drills.”
