A huge search is underway for a two-year-old boy who was snatched after he was left with a babysitter.
Brandon Rozier Jr., 2, was reportedly taken from his babysitter’s home in the city of North College Hill, Ohio, USA, on Thursday, 2nd March.
The police have named the suspected kidnapper as Lucy Renee Bullock, 22, a friend of the babysitter.
The authorities have issued an Amber Alert, which is a child abduction emergency alert to ask members of the public for help in locating kidnapped children.
The toddler’s distraught mother Arnisha Crumpley told local media: “He is my lifeline, my heart.”
She added: “I just want him home. We just want him home.”
Newsflash obtained a statement from the North College Hill Police Department on Thursday evening saying: “The North College Hill Police Department has issued an Amber Alert for 2 y/o Brandon Rozier Jr m/b who was taken from his babysitter’s house off Sterling Ave around 5 am in a 2009 Black Saturn SUV bearing OH/JVU5960 by known subject Lucy Bullock f/b 22 years old 5’3 135 pounds. If either are seen call 911 immediately”. (sic)
The North College Hill Police Department also said in a separate statement: “Brandon Rozier Jr. was taken at 5 AM by a female named Lucy driving a 2009 Black Saturn SUV with Ohio licence plate JVU5960 from Tayana Crawford (babysitter) at 1951 Sterling Ave, Cincinnati Ohio 45239.
“Brandon Rozier is a male black 2 year old boy with braids and wearing black clothes. He was dropped off at the babysitter on March 2, 2023 by mother, Arnisha Crumpley and when she returned to the babysitter, the child was gone.
“Lucy, a friend of the babysitter took the child and the babysitter’s car without permission and was witnessed taking both at 5 AM on the neighbor’s ring doorbell camera.
“An Amber Alert has been issued for the vehicle and Brandon Rozier Jr. as we believe he may be in danger!
“We are asking for the public’s help to find Brandon Rozier Jr. as quickly as possible and facilitate a safe return to his mother.” (sic)
The investigation is ongoing.
