This is the moment family members sneak into a school’s premises to slip notes to their exam-taking children through the windows.

Incredibly, school officials have decided to turn a blind eye to the incident and the students’ exam results will not be reviewed despite reports claiming the students brazenly copied from one another.

The footage of the alleged mass cheating took place at the Government Higher Secondary School in the town of Handwara in the northern Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir and was filmed by stunned onlookers.

In the video, students’ loved ones can be seen climbing up to the windows and seemingly passing notes to the pupils inside.

Reports state the students also copied from each other in front of the examining officers and were not stopped from doing so.

According to local media, officials at the Government Higher Secondary School have decided to ignore the widely-circulated video and will leave the exam results as they are.

Meanwhile, some parents claimed that students from rich families were allowed to sit their exams in separate rooms and were personally helped by outsiders and even the teachers themselves.

District education officer Shafi Nabi War told local media: “We have received a complaint in this regard and I have sent an assistant to the scene to gather information. We will take action.”
