A gorgeous Ukrainian beauty queen has been slammed for lying about spending her birthday in the Netherlands when she was in fact in Russian capital Moscow.

Stunning blonde Nataliya Bolyukh, 24, was crowned Miss Lviv in 2018 and finished runner-up at the Miss Ukraine Universe contest later the same year.

The leggy model has reportedly found herself in hot water after informing her army of online followers that she recently celebrated her birthday in the Netherlands.

However, despite tagging Holland as the geo-location on her social media pages, it was revealed that she was, in fact, celebrating her birthday in the western Russian capital Moscow.

She was immediately slammed for double standards by netizens after previously stating that Ukraine is one country “from Crimea to Kiev, from Lviv to Donetsk”.

Russian-Ukrainian relations have been particularly strained by Russia’s annexation of Crimea in 2014. The incident has affected bilateral relations between the countries as well as causing tension between many citizens on both sides.

After being exposed, the curvy model admitted that she has many friends in Russia and went there simply to have a good time.

She also deleted all birthday-related posts from her social media accounts.

Bolyukh commented: “Everybody wants peace for both of our countries. I cherish this friendship… I believe that we will be able to bring peace to your area when we unite on both sides of the border.”

Netizen ‘Ezhik Spravedliviy’ said: “I think all she wants is money. She seems like someone who is easy to buy to me.”

‘Druzhe’ remarked: “What a great way to get busted on a lie.”
