This is the moment the bubble bursts for contestants in an international balloon festival when their airship crash lands on a house in Mexico.
Baffled locals watched the balloon, one of 200 taking part in the event, skim the rooftops in Leon, Guanajuato State, as its pilot and passengers yelled for help.
As the balloon lost height, spectators staged a heroic rescue as they grabbed one of its tether ropes and hauled it down to the ground on 18th November.
At one point in phone footage that emerged on social media, it looked as if one of the rescuers was going to be carried off into the sky as the aircraft suddenly shot back up.
But moments later it was back down to earth with passengers hopping out onto the pavement.
Miraculously, the balloon managed to squeeze past power and phone lines without triggering an electric shock that could have set the aircraft ablaze.
And as the footage ends, locals burst into a round of applause for the rescuers.
The International Balloon Festival (FIG) is one of the three main ballooning events worldwide.
Organisers describe it as “one of the most renowned around the world”.
